All crops grown in such soils - cereals, vegetables and fruits - will show symptoms of copper deficiency.

Some general symptoms are discoloration and bleaching of leaves, retarded growth, dwarfing, poor heading, empty ears, bluish green foliage, wilting and drooping of leaves in peas and tobacco, splitting and dropping of fruit, stunting in vegetables.
